On Monday, the Washington Capitals signed forward Matt Hendricks to a one-year contract. Hendricks had been in discount New York Yankees Hats Capitals training camp on a professional tryout, and last Wednesday had a hat trick in Washington’s first preseason game in Columbus. Hendricks made his NHL debut in March 2009 at age 27, and has scored nine goals in 60 career NHL games.
Hendricks began his NHL career with the Colorado Avalanche, averaging 9:16 of ice time last season in 56 regular season games. A fifth round pick of the Nashville Predators in 2000, Hendricks played for current Capitals head coach Bruce Boudreau in 2006-2007 for Washington’s AHL affiliate, the Hershey Bears. Hendricks andCheap Boston Red Sox Hats Boudreau seem to like each other a lot.
